Yape establishes transaction limits for service payments

The digital payment platform Yape has established specific transaction limits for users paying for various services.

Daily limits are categorized by service type: users can pay up to S/3,000 per day for financial services, business providers, education, procedures, catalog sales, and taxes. A daily limit of S/2,000 applies to basic services, insurance, associations, and other categories. For online purchases, the daily limit is set at S/1,000.

Across all categories, the maximum cumulative monthly limit is S/20,000. Upon successful payment, users receive a confirmation via their registered email and can view transaction records in the “Últimos movimientos” section of the application.
