Yaritza Morales recognized for consecutive academic excellence awards

Yaritza Damaris Morales Valladares, a Public Accounting and Finance student at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH), has been recognized for her exceptional academic performance. Reports indicate she has secured the Rubén Darío Regional Award for Academic Excellence for a second consecutive year, following her 2025 distinction. Her academic records show high achievement, including a global index of 98% during her selection for the award's twentieth edition.

In response to her achievements, Deputy Godofredo Fajardo has proposed an initiative for the National Congress of Honduras to grant Morales a formal award. The proposal aims to publicly recognize her discipline and dedication, using her success as an example to highlight the importance of merit and higher education within the country.
