Yaser Asprilla finds form at Girona following return from Turkey

Colombian winger Yaser Asprilla has seen a resurgence in form following his return to Girona FC. After a difficult period on loan at Galatasaray in Turkey, where he struggled for playing time and suffered a knee injury, the 22-year-old has scored four goals in just six matches for Girona.

This recent performance marks a significant turnaround from his previous stint at the club, where he scored four goals in 50 official matches. His improved output has also facilitated his return to the Colombia national team after a 10-month absence.

Despite his individual success, Girona coach Quique Álvarez noted that international call-ups present a challenge for the squad as they compete in the Spanish second division. The club is currently working to manage the roster to minimize the impact of players departing for international duty.
