Yash addresses film criticism and past controversies

Actor Yash addressed recent online criticism and past controversies during an appearance on the show Aap Ki Adaalat. Regarding the song ‘Tabaahi’ from his upcoming film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’, Yash responded to viewers who compared the intimate visuals to a condom advertisement. He joked that if he were to do a condom advertisement, he would do it for payment rather than for free.

Yash also defended the film’s intimate content, stating that the production team was careful to maintain an aesthetic approach to avoid vulgarity. He noted that the film is intended for Gen-Z audiences and aims to address contemporary social conversations.

Additionally, the actor commented on a 2017 controversy involving Rashmika Mandanna, who had referred to him as ‘Mr Showoff’ in an interview. Yash stated that he has moved past the incident, noting that an individual's opinion does not define his personality. He also remarked that fans who abuse others based on such comments are not true fans.
