The Indian action‑drama "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups" is slated for a worldwide release on 26 August 2026. Directed by Geethu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions with Monster Mind Creations, the film stars Yash, who also co‑wrote and produced the project. Yash emphasized at San Diego Comic‑Con that the film blends large‑scale action with strong emotion, describing it as a "roller‑coaster" that is both "deep" and "larger than life." A newly released teaser highlights a brutal cemetery battle, suggesting a gritty, blood‑soaked crime saga set in Goa from the early 1940s to the 1970s. The story follows a man building a sprawling drug cartel amid fading colonial influence and rising criminal factions. The cast includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. The movie will be shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and will be released in multiple languages worldwide.
