Yash Raj Films launches Raah Records, India's new independent music incubator

Yash Raj Films (YRF) announced the creation of Raah Records, a music company and artist incubator aimed at nurturing independent Indian musicians. The label’s first release is singer‑songwriter Aman Kashyap’s single “Jaadugari,” which became available on major streaming platforms on August 5, following the label’s launch on August 4, 2026.

Raah Records will operate as a long‑term creative partner, providing A&R, production, marketing and distribution support to artists outside the traditional film‑music model. YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani said the venture “represents an important strategic expansion of Yash Raj Films’ music business” and will help artists build lasting careers. Senior General Manager of Music Management Nakul Sharma added that the label is built around careers, not campaigns, and will offer belief, time and partnership to emerging talent.
