Yashpal Sharma attends HIFA International Film Festival in Haryana

The Haryanvi Innovative Film Association (HIFA) organized a two-day international film festival at SUPWA University in Rohtak, Haryana. The event featured a showcase of domestic, international, and Haryanvi films, aimed at providing young artists with exposure to diverse cinematic styles.

Bollywood actor Yashpal Sharma attended the award ceremony and emphasized the importance of such platforms for local talent. He noted that the festival represents a ‘local to global’ journey. Sharma also commented on the film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, stating that while making religious films is not wrong, filmmakers should avoid pushing specific agendas.

The festival included masterclasses led by Bollywood writers and directors Ashwini Chaudhary and Akhilendra Mishra. Sharma encouraged local stage and trained artists to pursue professional opportunities and auditions to advance their careers.
