Yash's film 'Toxic' set for worldwide release on August 26, 2026
After three postponements, the makers of the Indian action drama starring KGF star Yash have confirmed a final release date. Yash announced on his X account on Father’s Day that “Toxic” will open in cinemas worldwide on 26‑08‑2026. The film had previously been slated for 19 March 2026, then moved to 4 June 2026, and most recently was rumored for the last week of August 2026.
The production, directed by Gitu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions, features a large ensemble cast including Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasant. With a reported budget of about ₹500 crore, it is among the most expensive Indian films. The team aims for a coordinated global rollout, citing earlier delays caused by international market considerations and regional tensions. Fans have reacted strongly to the confirmed date, ending a period of uncertainty that followed a cryptic social‑media hint posted by the studio.
The film is marketed as a “fairy‑tale for grown‑ups” and is expected to be a major box‑office event in India and overseas.
