Yash's film Toxic set for worldwide release on Aug 26, 2026
Indian superstar Yash has confirmed that his upcoming period‑gangster drama Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown‑Ups will open in cinemas worldwide on 26 August 2026. The announcement, made via a new poster and Yash’s post on X reading “Honour Thy Father… #Toxic In Cinemas Worldwide from 26‑08‑2026”, ends a series of postponements that saw the film moved from an initial March 19, 2026 slot to June 4, 2026 before settling on the current date. Directed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions together with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the multilingual project will be released in Kannada, Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. It stars Yash alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria. The mid‑week launch aligns with an extended festive corridor that includes Varamahalakshmi, Onam, Eid and Raksha Bandhan, a strategy intended to maximise box‑office potential across domestic and overseas markets.
