Yash's 'Toxic' film slated for worldwide release on Aug 26

Indian action‑thriller "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown‑Ups" is written, produced and headlined by star Yash and directed by Geetu Mohandas. The movie, which also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi, will hit theatres worldwide on 26 August.

KVN Productions, the banner behind the film, will distribute it itself in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, keeping the financial risk in‑house and charging distributors only about a 7 % commission instead of selling the rights outright. The model follows a similar approach used for the company's earlier releases.

Promotion for the film is underway. The official trailer is scheduled to premiere on 8 August, and the first song “Tabaahi” featuring Yash and Kiara Advani has already been released. A second track, sung by Siddharth Basrur and showcasing Yash‑Sutaria chemistry, is expected to drop in early August. The soundtrack involves composers Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami and will be released in several Indian languages.
