Yason Burnu Peninsula hosts 750,000 visitors over five years

Yason Burnu Peninsula, located in the Perşembe district of Ordu on the Black Sea coast, has become a significant tourism destination. According to the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, the site welcomed 180,000 visitors in the first seven months of this year and has hosted a total of 750,000 visitors over the last five years.

The peninsula holds status as a first-degree archaeological site and a second-degree natural protected area. It attracts various groups, including photographers, campers, and fishermen, due to its natural landscape and historical significance. Local municipalities have implemented environmental improvements to support the area's growing popularity.

In addition to its natural appeal, the region hosts various social and sporting activities, such as concerts and kite festivals, and is a frequent stop for organized tour companies.
