Yassir Zabiri joins Mbappé and Yamal as La Liga top scorers

Moroccan forward Yassir Zabiri has emerged as one of the top scorers in La Liga, joining Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal at the top of the rankings with seven goals each. Zabiri secured his seventh goal of the season during Racing Santander’s 2-2 draw against Valencia CF.

The 21-year-old, who is currently on loan from Stade Rennais, has demonstrated remarkable efficiency, scoring a goal every 68 minutes in the league. His rapid ascent has drawn significant attention, particularly as Racing Santander competes in its first top-flight season in 14 years.

In addition to his club success, Zabiri has recently received his first call-up to the Moroccan national team. The striker, who previously played for Famalicão, has expressed long-standing admiration for FC Barcelona, a club he has already scored against during his time in the league.
