Yassir Zabiri scores sixth goal in six LaLiga matches

Moroccan striker Yassir Zabiri has recorded an impressive start to his LaLiga campaign with Racing Santander. After joining the club on loan from French side Rennes, the 21-year-old has scored six goals in his first six appearances.

In a recent match against FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou, Zabiri scored Racing Santander’s second goal after capitalizing on an error by goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny. Despite his goal, Racing Santander suffered a 7-2 defeat. Prior to this match, Zabiri had already netted five goals in five matches, including a hat-trick against Elche and a brace against Deportivo Alavés.

Zabiri, who previously won the U-20 World Cup with Morocco, has shown high efficiency, averaging a goal approximately every 46 minutes of play. He joined Racing Santander on a season-long loan following a €10 million transfer from Famalicão to Rennes in February 2026.
