Yasuko hosts first session of ‘Yasumattari’ children's cafeteria

Japanese comedian Yasuko has announced the successful first hosting of her children's cafeteria, named ‘Yasumattari’, located in Katsushika, Tokyo. The initiative aims to provide free meals once a week to children high school age or younger.

According to reports from her social media accounts, the initial operating costs, including food ingredients and volunteer transportation, totaled approximately 40,000 yen. Yasuko noted that while donations are helpful for covering food, rent, and utilities, she specifically expressed that fresh produce and meat are the most helpful forms of support due to rising costs. She emphasized her commitment to transparency regarding the cafeteria's expenses.
