Yavatmal: Debt waiver for farmer's family and road construction funds proposed

In Yavatmal district, the family of Shubhangi Raju Chuddke, following a farmer suicide in Raveri village, has received a full debt waiver from the government. The relief follows advocacy by social activists, local representatives, and administrative officials, who brought the family's economic crisis to the attention of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. While the debt has been cleared, the family is now requesting additional support, including a well and an electricity connection.

Separately, in the Wani region, a protest organized by the UBT Shiv Sena at Pathri Phata regarding poor road conditions resulted in a written assurance from the Public Works Department. A total of 1.90 crore rupees has been proposed for various road works, including 80 lakh rupees specifically for the construction of the road from Paramdoh to Pathri Phata and 75 lakh rupees for the Pathri link road.
