Yaxel Lendeborg achieves historic NBA debut statistics

Dominican forward Yaxel Lendeborg has made a historic impact in his fourth NBA game. Playing for the Golden State Warriors in a 134-114 victory over the Denver Nuggets, Lendeborg recorded 31 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists in 31 minutes.

With these figures, Lendeborg becomes only the fourth player since the 1985-1986 draft lottery era to record at least 85 points and 35 rebounds in their first four career games. He joins Hall of Famers Patrick Ewing, David Robinson, and Shaquille O’Neal in this statistical group. Notably, legendary players such as Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry did not reach this specific combination of points and rebounds in their first four appearances.

Lendeborg is currently the only Dominican player to achieve these specific milestones in his first four NBA games, surpassing previous Dominican players such as Al Horford and Karl-Anthony Towns.
