Yaxel Lendeborg scores 26 points for Golden State Warriors

Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg recorded a career-high 26 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 6 three-pointers during a matchup against the Phoenix Suns on October 24. Despite the Warriors' 131-122 loss, Lendeborg stood out as a primary performer for a depleted roster missing several key players, including Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.

Lendeborg, a 24-year-old Dominican player and former Michigan standout, has averaged 18.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists over his first three games.

In addition to his on-court performance, the rookie has drawn attention for his verbal exchanges with NBA star Luka Doncic. Following a game against the Lakers, Lendeborg addressed his trash-talking comments, stating, ‘He is not Michael Jordan,’ and noting that he does not fear speaking his mind during competition.
