Yayoi Ken announces dessert menu renewal at select Japanese locations

Plenus Co., Ltd. has announced a renewal of the dessert menu for select locations of its Yayoi Ken restaurant chain in Japan, effective September 2.

The new menu features a series of Japanese-style sweets centered on toasted fu (wheat gluten). Highlights include the ‘Matcha Affogato Yaki-fu Parfait’, a ‘Soy Sauce Mitarashi Yaki-fu Parfait’, and a ‘Yaki-fu Shiratama Zenzai’ using Hokkaido adzuki beans.

Additionally, the chain is introducing a rice koji milk float series, offering strawberry, chocolate, and matcha adzuki flavors. The renewal also includes updated fried bread desserts paired with vanilla ice cream and Hokkaido adzuki. These items are available at specific participating stores.
