Yayoi Kusama installation to debut at OGR Torino

Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room – The Eternally Infinite Light of the Universe Illuminating the Quest for Truth will be hosted at OGR Torino from October 31, 2026, to February 25, 2027. The installation is part of The Quantum Effect, an exhibition exploring the influence of quantum theory on art, cinema, and contemporary visual culture.

Kusama’s work focuses on overcoming physical and spatial limits through repetitive forms and light. The Infinity Mirrored Room uses mirrors to create a sense of boundless space, where the viewer’s body becomes part of a multiplied universe of light and reflections. While the project was planned prior to the artist's passing, the exhibition takes on new significance as a way to experience her lifelong pursuit of transcending boundaries.
