Yazaki Energy System Co., Ltd. has completed its new aluminum factory in Samut Prakan, Thailand. An opening ceremony was held on August 19, 2026, attended by approximately 100 stakeholders, including local officials and company representatives.

The new facility is designed to triple the production capacity of Thai Yazaki Electric Co., Ltd. for aluminum and aluminum alloy wires. This expansion aims to meet the rising demand for power transmission and distribution networks driven by Thailand's increasing electricity needs. Additionally, the plant will focus on producing aluminum wire harnesses for the automotive sector to support lightweighting and environmental reduction efforts.

President Wataru Yazaki noted that the investment will help the company secure more projects from Thailand's electricity authorities and expand its market share within the ASEAN region. The facility covers a site area of 145,464 square meters and is expected to employ 270 people.
