Yazeed Al-Rajhi to compete in Baja Aragon with new navigator
Saudi champion Yazeed Al-Rajhi is set to compete in the 42nd edition of the Baja Aragon rally in Teruel, Spain, following a rescheduling caused by nearby wildfires. The event serves as the fifth round of the 2026 FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies.
Al-Rajhi will face a change in his crew after his German navigator, Timo Gutschalk, sustained rib fractures in a motorcycle accident. German navigator Dennis Zins will step in to assist Al-Rajhi. Al-Rajhi will drive a Toyota Hilux T1+ prepared by the Belgian Overdrive Racing team.
The rally covers a total distance of 810.11 kilometers, including 488.68 kilometers of competitive stages across gravel and dirt tracks. Al-Rajhi expressed support for Gutschalk’s recovery and noted that while the crew change presents a new challenge, Zins brings significant experience to the competition.
