Ybrain co-hosts launch of BCI Alliance in South Korea

Ybrain, a specialist in electronic medicine and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology, co-hosted the launch of the BCI Alliance in Seoul. The event was organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT, alongside the Korea Research Foundation, the Korea Brain Research Institute, and the Korea BCI Association.

The alliance aims to establish a collaborative foundation by connecting the capabilities of domestic companies, universities, research institutes, and hospitals. This initiative supports the BCI mission, which is one of the seven core SEED projects under the government’s ‘K-Moonshot’ program.

During the launch, Ybrain CEO Ki-won Lee reported on the alliance's establishment and future activity plans. The alliance intends to build a full-cycle cooperation system focusing on three key areas: research and development (R&D), commercialization, and infrastructure establishment. Lee emphasized the importance of linking field experience with technology to drive medical and industrial innovation.
