Ye sets Soldier Field revenue record with Chicago concert series
Ye has concluded a two-night concert series titled ‘Ye Live in Chicago’ at Soldier Field, marking a significant homecoming to his hometown. The second performance on September 4 earned $15.76 million, setting a new record for the highest single-night revenue in the history of Soldier Field, surpassing previous records held by Beyoncé.
Across the two nights on September 3 and 4, the rapper sold 129,562 tickets, generating a total of approximately $29.8 million from an estimated 142,000 attendees. While the Chicago shows set a venue record and rank among the highest-grossing rap/hip-hop nights in history, Ye’s personal single-night record remains his April 2026 performance at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, which earned $18 million.
The event featured a massive stage production centered around a hemispherical structure simulating Earth. The concerts also served as a major hip-hop gathering, featuring approximately 20 guest artists including Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, Chief Keef, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Young Thug, Don Toliver, Lupe Fiasco, Common, and Twista.
