Year‑Round Artificial Turf Football Pitch Built in Nové Hodějovice, Czech Republic

Construction began on a new 43 × 50 m training football pitch with third‑generation artificial turf in the Nové Hodějovice district of České Budějovice. The project, carried out by Český Trávník s.r.o., includes fencing, protective nets, outdoor lighting, drainage and infiltration systems, and access walkways.

Deputy mayor Petr Maroš said the facility will expand training options for local clubs, youth and adult players and will be usable throughout the year. Completion is scheduled for November 2024, after which the upgraded arena will complement the existing natural‑grass field.
