Yeat Travis Scott diss track hip-hop feud Slime Language 3

Rapper Yeat released a surprise diss track titled ‘ON NOTHING’ on Friday, September 4, which appears to target Travis Scott. The song includes lyrical jabs referencing Scott’s ‘La Flame’ alias and describes an individual as a ‘puppet’ who does what they are told.

The musical confrontation follows controversy regarding the track ‘Eaters’ from Young Thug’s compilation ‘Slime Language 3’. While the song originally featured Yeat alongside Travis Scott, Future, and Tezzus, Yeat’s verse was subsequently removed from streaming versions. Unverified reports suggest an unnamed artist may have issued an ultimatum to Young Thug to remove either their own verse or Yeat’s.

Prior to the release, Yeat shared screenshots on Instagram of messages from an unidentified sender warning him against dropping the track. This is not the first instance of tension between the two artists; a previous collaboration, ‘TRIP OUT’, was also removed from streaming services following its release.
