Yedi Başak Association holds summer festival for children in Gaza
The Yedi Başak Humanitarian Aid Association organized a summer festival in Gaza to provide social and psychological support to children living under the harsh conditions of war. The event aimed to create a safe environment where children could temporarily escape the difficulties of daily life.
The festival featured various activities, including amusement park rides, pools, inflatable play areas, and slides. Children also participated in face painting and clown shows. Beyond physical entertainment, the initiative sought to address the social and psychological needs of children, allowing them to socialize and experience childhood activities.
İsmet Yıldırım, President of the Yedi Başak Humanitarian Aid Association, emphasized that supporting the psychological well-being of children is a fundamental part of humanitarian work. He stated that while meeting basic needs is a priority, children also require opportunities to play, laugh, and spend time with peers to build positive memories.
