Yeeha! Camp launches outdoor summer program for children in Arija, Spain

Yeeha! Camp, a summer camp for children and teenagers aged 6 to 16, opened its season in Arija, northern Burgos, Spain. Set beside the Ebro reservoir and surrounded by mountains and forests, the camp offers daily outdoor activities, including water sports on the lake, hiking, and team‑building games. The program emphasizes personal development, teaching participants how to organise themselves, cooperate with peers, and solve problems without reliance on digital devices. Camp director Fausto de Elio de Bengy highlighted that the experience aims to build confidence, autonomy and social skills that last a lifetime.

The site’s mild summer climate, low mosquito presence and a private sandy beach allow uninterrupted outdoor recreation. Staff provide close, personalised guidance to each camper, monitoring progress and encouraging new interests. Organisers present the camp as a valuable alternative to screen‑based leisure, promoting face‑to‑face interaction and physical activity for youth development.
