Yeezy partners with JD Sports for major retail expansion

Yeezy has announced a retail partnership with JD Sports, marking a significant shift in the brand's distribution strategy since its split from Adidas. This deal will expand the brand's retail footprint through both physical stores and online platforms.

The first product drop under this partnership is scheduled for August 13, 2026. The initial release is expected to include five different models, such as the YEEZY Slide, YS-02, BL-01, AQ-01, and HL-02. While the YEEZY 800 has been noted in recent discussions, it is not expected to be part of this inaugural release.

This move transitions Yeezy from a model primarily reliant on direct-to-consumer sales back into a major global sneaker retail chain.
