Yelena Belova Confirmed for Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, speaking at the Shanghai Expo, said that Yelena Belova – the assassin played by Florence Pugh – will appear in the upcoming 2026 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Feige added, "If you're a fan of Yelena, wait until Avengers Doomsday, Yelena plays a big part in that. But if you don't want to wait until then, you might see Yelena a little bit sooner in the movies." The film is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026, and will precede Pugh's larger role in Avengers: Doomsday, slated for December 18, 2026. Rumours of a brief encounter between Yelena and Tom Holland’s Peter Parker have circulated but remain unconfirmed.
