Yellow Star Company brings Pocahontas school tours and Evita musical to Portugal

Yellow Star Company’s Portuguese production of the musical Pocahontas will run special sessions for school groups in four cities. In Porto the performances are scheduled for 9‑11 December, with dates in Aveiro to be announced, in Estoril (Cruzeiro) on 22, 23, 29 and 30 December, and in Faro on 21‑22 January. Tickets cost €11 per child, and one adult ticket is free for every ten children.

The company will also stage the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical Evita at the Teatro das Figuras in Faro on 20‑22 August. The three‑night run features a cast that includes Sofia Escobar, Diogo Morgado and Ricardo Soler, and follows previous shows in Lisbon’s Capitólio and Porto’s Coliseu Ageas.
