Multiple individuals have been arrested across Canada in connection with various sexual assault and exploitation investigations.

In Yellowknife, 52-year-old Peter Mackenzie was arrested and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and exposure of genital organs following an alleged attack on an eight-year-old girl at Somba K’e Park. Police believe the incident was isolated.

In Surrey, British Columbia, Jagendar Kurana, 40, faces charges of sexual assault and sexual interference after an alleged incident involving a female youth at Bear Creek Park. The arrest followed a public appeal for information.

In Ontario, 22-year-old Qasim Sabi was arrested in Windsor for allegedly assaulting two boys, aged eight and 10, while out on bail for previous sex crime charges. Additionally, Jan-Hoy Cassells was charged by York Regional Police for the alleged sexual assault of two young girls on a trail in Richmond Hill.

In Mississauga, 52-year-old John Thompson was charged in a months-long investigation involving child exploitation and luring via online platforms using multiple aliases.
