Yellowstone spinoffs Marshals and Dutton Ranch may feature crossover
Actors Luke Grimes and Kelly Reilly have discussed the possibility of a crossover between the Yellowstone spinoff series ‘Marshals’ and ‘Dutton Ranch’. Grimes noted in an interview with TV Insider that he and Reilly have communicated about how such an event would be beneficial for their respective character arcs.
While a crossover is considered a possibility, logistical challenges exist. The two shows operate on different timelines; Season 1 of both series takes place approximately one year after the conclusion of Yellowstone. Additionally, the production schedules differ, with Season 2 of Marshals set to premiere on CBS on October 4, while Season 1 of Dutton Ranch wrapped on Paramount+ on July 3.
Potential alignment for a crossover might not occur until the start of Marshals Season 3, or through new plot lines within the existing series structures.
