Yemen football team prepares in Jeddah for Gulf Cup 27

The Yemen national football team is conducting its final preparations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, ahead of the Gulf Cup 27, which is scheduled to take place from September 23 to October 6, 2026.

As part of their training camp, Yemen is set to play a friendly international match against Kuwait on Friday, September 18, 2026. The match serves as a final test for the squad to evaluate player readiness and finalize the roster under the guidance of Algerian coach Noureddine Ould Ali.

Yemen has been placed in Group B for the tournament, alongside Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. The team's upcoming tournament schedule includes matches against the UAE on September 24, Qatar on September 27, and Bahrain on September 30.
