Yemen Interior Minister reviews security readiness and condemns Houthi attacks

Yemeni Interior Minister Major General Ibrahim Ali Haidan held a meeting with ministry officials and provincial police directors to discuss security developments, general mobilization, and efforts to enhance stability. Haidan emphasized the need for unified efforts between military and security formations to support the armed forces in the “Fajr Yemen” operation aimed at restoring state institutions.

In a separate communication, Haidan addressed the Governor of Shabwah and the Shabwah Police Director following a terrorist attack on a training center in the Al-Alam area of the Jurdan district. The Minister condemned the Houthi militia for the attack, stating that such terrorist crimes against security personnel will not be forgotten and that those responsible will eventually face justice. He stressed that these actions would not diminish the resolve of security agencies to maintain stability and protect citizens.
