Yemeni Interior Minister Major General Ibrahim Haidan has announced the development of comprehensive security plans designed to secure provinces during and after their liberation from Houthi militias. These plans aim to facilitate the restoration of state institutions and the enforcement of the rule of law through specialized, trained security forces.

In a separate update, Minister Haidan reviewed the security readiness and field situation in the Taiz governorate via a telephone call with Taiz Police Director General Brigadier General Mansour Al-Akhaley.
