Yemen Ministry condemns attacks on health facilities in Al Khokha

The Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population has condemned the looting and attacks targeting health facilities and humanitarian programs in Al Khokha and the West Coast. These facilities and programs are funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre.

The Ministry warned that these attacks on clinics and essential medical services threaten the continuity of care and will increase the suffering of patients, particularly women, children, and displaced persons. The Ministry emphasized that such actions do not only cause physical damage but also deprive thousands of beneficiaries of vital medical services.

Authorities in Hodeidah have been directed to document the damages and assess the impact on service continuity. The Ministry called on international partners and humanitarian agencies to support efforts to protect medical facilities and personnel to ensure aid reaches those most in need.
