Yemen Skills Development Fund initiates emergency training program in Aden

The Board of Directors of the Skills Development Fund held an expanded meeting in the temporary capital, Aden, to review the implementation of an exceptional training program focused on first aid and life protection during wars and disasters.

Chaired by Board Chairman Issam Qasim Mohammed and attended by Executive Director Fatoum Mohammed Al-Ahdal, the meeting addressed directives from Prime Minister Dr. Shayea Mohsen Al-Zindani. The initiative aims to increase societal and institutional readiness across liberated provinces to mitigate humanitarian risks caused by ongoing conflict and military escalations.

The program is designed to equip local cadres with the field skills necessary for rapid response to emergencies, including medical crises during natural disasters or military attacks. The board emphasized that investing in human capital and training rapid response teams is essential for reducing casualties and strengthening civil defense capabilities.
