Yemen U17 national team draws 1-1 with ENPPI SC

The Yemen U17 national team concluded its external training camp in Cairo with a 1-1 draw against the Egyptian club ENPPI SC in a friendly match.

After a first half where ENPPI utilized their physical strength and height advantage to take a 1-0 lead, the Yemeni team improved their performance in the second half following tactical substitutions by coach Anwar Ashour. Ali Farea scored the equalizer in the 32nd minute of the second half.

The team is now set to depart for Aqaba, Jordan, to participate in the 13th West Asian U17 Championship, scheduled from September 26 to October 5, 2026. Yemen is placed in Group A alongside Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon.
