Yemen warns Saudi Arabia of missile strikes amid Strait of Hormuz reopening proposal

Yemeni military leadership has issued a warning to Saudi Arabia and its allies, stating that their ballistic missiles and drones are prepared to strike strategic interests and decision-making centers if the blockade continues or red lines are crossed. Defense Minister Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi and Chief of Staff Yousef Hassan al-Madani emphasized their readiness to take unprecedented deterrent actions.

In a separate regional development, military chiefs from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan met in Riyadh under the Mecca Mutual Defense Agreement. The discussions focused on strengthening intelligence and military cooperation to enhance collective defense and deterrence against security threats.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi detailed a proposed seven-day plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Araghchi stated that the timeline would begin as soon as the United States accepts the proposal and fulfills specific actions outlined in existing understandings.
