Yemeni authorities launch security and regulatory campaigns in Aden, Taiz, and Shabwa

Local authorities across several Yemeni governorates have launched various regulatory and security campaigns to maintain stability and public welfare.

In Aden, security forces conducted an extensive operation across multiple districts, including Tawahi, Al-Rawdah, Maalla, and Crater. The campaign focused on securing mountainous areas and surrounding sites to enhance readiness and prevent security threats. Authorities reported the detention of several individuals suspected of activities that could disrupt stability.

In Taiz, the Office of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Industry and Trade Prosecution, carried out inspections of markets to monitor commodity stocks and ensure compliance with announced prices. The campaign targeted major traders and suppliers of essential food items to ensure market stability and the smooth flow of goods.

In the Shabwa governorate, local leaders from Mayfa'a, Al-Rawdah, and Radoum met to discuss unifying efforts to enhance security, services, and development. The meeting emphasized the importance of institutional coordination and supporting the country's stability.

Additionally, health authorities in Aden conducted inspections of pharmacies in the Al-Buraiqah district. The operation aimed to enforce health and pharmaceutical standards, resulting in the seizure of smuggled and expired medications from non-compliant establishments.
