Yemeni Prime Minister inspects electricity ministry and Mansoura station

Yemeni Prime Minister Shayea Mohsen al-Zindani conducted field visits to the Ministry of Electricity and Energy headquarters and the Mansoura power station in the temporary capital, Aden. During his visit, al-Zindani met with Minister of Electricity and Energy Adnan al-Kaf and ministry officials to review development programs and address technical, administrative, and financial challenges facing the power sector.

The Prime Minister emphasized that improving electricity services is a top government priority. He directed officials to move away from temporary, makeshift fixes toward sustainable, institutional solutions. His instructions included prioritizing the maintenance and development of generation, transformation, and distribution networks to ensure operational readiness.

Al-Zindani also acknowledged the ongoing support provided by Saudi Arabia through the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen in helping to stabilize the electricity sector.
