Yemeni tribes announce general mobilization to support armed forces
Yemeni tribal leaders across several provinces have announced a general mobilization in support of the country's armed forces and the political leadership. In Marib, the Tribal Affairs Authority held a consultative meeting with local sheikhs to confirm their readiness to support the state and the military in the 'Dawn of Yemen' campaign aimed at reclaiming state institutions from Houthi control.
Tribes in Al-Haymatayn, Bani Matar, and Haraz also declared their support for the military and popular resistance. Similarly, tribal groups in Al-Dhale, Dhamar, Sana'a, Saada, and Hajjah expressed readiness to provide men, money, and weapons to the front lines.
The tribal statements collectively condemned Houthi recruitment efforts and urged citizens to avoid being drawn into conflicts that serve foreign interests. Additionally, the Marib tribal leaders and other groups condemned recent attacks targeting civilian airports and infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
