Yemeni tribes declare general mobilization against Saudi Arabia

Tribal groups across several Yemeni districts, including Sa'fan in Sana'a, Sahar and Sa'dah, and Al-Makha in Taiz, have declared a state of general mobilization. These armed tribal meetings aim to prepare for military confrontation and support the Yemeni armed forces in response to what they describe as Saudi aggression and blockades.

Participants in these gatherings expressed readiness to provide manpower and equipment to the front lines. They emphasized a policy of “escalation with escalation” to counter the blockade and seek the restoration of national rights and resources. The tribal statements also reaffirmed their support for the leadership of Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and their commitment to regional causes, specifically the Palestinian cause.
