Yemen's Schools Celebrate 25 Years and Record 94.7% Pass Rate in Exams
Schools and kindergartens of Al‑Ashab in Aden marked their silver jubilee, commemorating 25 years since their establishment. In Shabwah, the provincial education office announced the results of the 2025‑2026 basic‑education (grade‑nine) examinations. A total of 8,415 students participated, with 7,805 passing, giving the province an overall success rate of 94.67 %. The number of failures was 439, while 171 students were absent. Salem Mohamed Hanash, director of the Shabwah education office, congratulated the successful candidates and highlighted the effort of teachers and administrators in achieving these results.
