Yemen's Shabwa Police Chief Calls for Maximum Security Readiness

Police General Fouad Mohamed Nissi, director‑general of Shabwa province police, chaired an expanded security meeting with police and civil‑status officials. The discussion focused on raising combat and operational readiness to the highest level and intensifying field patrols across major towns to counter any Houthi‑linked threats.

The meeting also addressed service improvements for civil‑status offices, reviewing transaction statistics for the first half of the year and seeking smoother procedures for citizens’ identity documents. Nissi thanked the ministry of interior, the provincial governor, and noted support from the Saudi‑led Arab coalition in bolstering the province’s security capabilities.
