YENİ Parti announces nationwide district elections

YENİ Parti is conducting nationwide district chairmanship elections this weekend to strengthen its organizational structure. Party Spokesperson Zeynel Emre announced that the party has completed preparations for these democratic processes, noting that Chairman Özgür Özel will be active in the field, visiting cities including İzmir, Manisa, Balıkesir, and Istanbul.

In preparation for these elections, several candidates have emerged. In Serdivan, founding district chair Nalan Yedekçi Turhan has announced her candidacy, aiming to prepare the party for the 2028 general elections and 2029 local elections. In Nazilli, candidate Özlem Burcu Uğan Sevim addressed rumors regarding her professional status, denying claims that she had been appointed as a notary.

Additionally, the party's Central Executive Board addressed legal and administrative matters. Spokesperson Emre stated that the party is considering a minor adjustment to its name to resolve objections regarding potential confusion with other political entities. The board also discussed a legislative proposal aimed at recovering public losses by identifying and utilizing the assets of those responsible for such damages.
