YENİ Parti begins internal election process in Eskişehir

The YENİ Parti is preparing for a significant internal election process in Eskişehir, beginning with the selection of district congress delegates on September 13. Approximately 7,000 members are expected to participate in the voting process, with preference polls for district chairmanships scheduled for September 26-27.

Odunpazarı Mayor Kazım Kurt stated that the party is transitioning away from a delegate-heavy structure toward a system where members select candidates and delegates provide approval. The upcoming congress has sparked movement among potential candidates, with several individuals vying for provincial and district leadership positions. There is also a growing internal movement calling for changes in current provincial and district leadership roles.
