Yeniden Refah Party kicks off election drive in Trabzon, warns of economic woes

Yeniden Refah Party Deputy Chairman Suat Kılıç addressed journalists in Trabzon, announcing the start of the party’s election preparations. He said the party now counts 703,000 members and will activate its structures across all 81 provinces, launching activities such as member registration, visits to merchants and the "Mahallede Refah Var" project. Kılıç presented his book "Yeniden Refah İçin 101 Neden" to the party’s regional head and declared the campaign officially underway.

Kılıç also criticised Turkey’s economic trajectory, describing the situation as a "technical bankruptcy" with public debt around $565 billion and insufficient production. He argued the current parties' economic policies are alike and called for a new model based on debt, interest and price control, proposing a balanced budget as the solution. The remarks framed the party’s platform as an alternative to the ruling and opposition parties, emphasizing the need for a distinct economic approach ahead of the upcoming elections.
