Yenişehir Public Education Center reports high success in free university courses

The Yenişehir Public Education Center in Bursa is seeing significant success with its free university preparation courses. Established in the 2019-2020 academic year following requests from three students with financial difficulties, the program has expanded its capacity from 33 students to 120.

According to Center Director Hüsnü Kemal Yılmaz, the program has achieved a total success rate exceeding 90%. To date, 13 students have gained admission to medical school, while approximately 50 students have entered fields such as engineering and dentistry. The center places about 50% of its students into four-year programs and 35% into two-year programs.

The courses are taught by permanent teachers from the Ministry of National Education, and all necessary books and practice exams are provided free of charge by the Yenişehir Municipality.
