Yeoju hosts 2026 Youth Career Fair for 1,000 students

The Yeoju Youth Career Experience Support Center held the ‘2026 Yeoju Youth Career Fair’ at the Yeoju Youth Training Center. Under the slogan ‘Diverse Lights of Dreams, Meeting My Future,’ the event was designed to allow students to move beyond simple information gathering to hands-on career exploration.

Approximately 1,000 elementary, middle, and high school students participated in the fair, which featured 45 experiential booths organized into three distinct zones. The Future Exploration Zone focused on new technologies such as AI, drones, robotics, and semiconductors. The Job Experience Zone provided insights into professional roles including the military, police, fire services, nursing, fashion, ecology, and design. Additionally, a Mind Design Zone offered emotional support programs to help students reflect on their interests and aptitudes.

Yeoju Mayor Lee Chung-woo encouraged the students to find their paths through diverse experiences and grow into healthy members of the local community, promising continued municipal support for youth development.
